FAQ's for Exhibitors

  • Q - Is there storage area onsite?
    A - No, there is no storage available onsite

  • Q – What is the best way to display my posters/advertising material?
    A – Stand walls are carpeted, so Velcro dots work really well for fixing to the walls

  • Q – How high are the walls?
    A – 2.4m

  • Q – Do I receive any complimentary tickets?
    A – Yes - we will post out 10 complimentary tickets to you, approximately 3 weeks out from the festival.

  • Q – When do I receive the full exhibitor manual and any forms to complete?
    A – This will be emailed out to you 8 weeks out from the festival.  Forms are to be completed online and returned back to us.

  • Q – Do I need to get an exhibitor badge made up for all staff members working on the stand?
    A – Yes – all staff working on your stand will require an exhibitor badge.  This allows them entry into the festival and looks professional on your stand.

  • Q – When will I be able to move in?
    A – Move in commences the day before the festival opens to the public.  You can gain entry to the venue from 12 noon.

  • Q – Are there any special requirements that I need to be aware of for move in?
    A – Yes – you and any staff members are required to wear a SAFETY VEST (high visibility garment) and CLOSED TOE SHOES during both move in and move out.  This is an OH&S requirement and you will NOT gain access to the venue without these.  You should also be aware that children under the age of 15 are not permitted in the festival during the move in day and move out times.

  • Q – Is there a power point on my stand?
    A – Yes - as part of your stand package 1 x 4amp power point is included.   Check with Exponet – www.exponet.com.au if you want to query that this will be sufficient to run the number of items you intend using / displaying on your stand.

  • Q - Do my electrical goods need to be tagged & tested by a qualified electrician?
    A – Yes – but this is also included as part of your stand package.  A qualified electrician is available onsite during move-in.

  • Q -  What are the compulsory things I need to do for move in and move out?
    A - There are compulsory Occupational Health and Safety regulations you must adhere to during move in and move out.  These are wearing a safety vest at all times, wearing close toed shoes and ensuring children under 16 are not present.

  • Q - How can I avoid queuing for long periods on the loading dock during move in and move out?
    A - Between the hours of 12pm and 3pm will always be busy and access to the dock can take up to 2 hours during these times.  Avoid moving in during this time if you can. The busiest time for move out, will be from show close to 8.30pm. If possible, have a bite to eat and then come back to pack up.

  • Q - Can I share my stand with another Business?
    A - This will need approval from the organiser, the sharing of stands is not recommended unless there is a synergy between each business.

  • Q - Is there a discount if I do more than one Festival?
    A - Discount applies to Exhibitors who participate in all 3 of our four day Festivals being Sydney May, Melbourne June and Sydney November.
  • Q - What is the eDirectory?
    A - The eDirectory is an online directory of all exhibitors in the Show. Each exhibitor is given a listing, which visitors of the Show can use to gain contact information, a company description, exclusive Show specials, up to three images, a brochure and video content.
